Dili, February 26, 2025 – The National Agency for Academic Assessment and Accreditation (ANAAA, I.P.) and the Independent Accreditation Agency for Economics, Business Management, and Accounting (LAMEMBA) have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Indonesian Cultural Center (PBI), Mascarenhas, Dili.
The MoU establishes a partnership between the two institutions to enhance academic accreditation standards and strengthen collaboration in the fields of economics, management, business, and accounting. Under this agreement, ANAAA and LAMEMBA will work together to provide training and workshops on accreditation systems, facilitate international accreditation for relevant study programs in Timor-Leste, offer observer opportunities for ANAAA assessors in LAMEMBA accreditation processes, and collaborate in academic conferences and seminars.
The MoU was signed by Prof. Dr. Ina Primiana, representing the Executive Board of LAMEMBA, and Dr. Azevedo Lourenço da Costa Marça, President of ANAAA, I.P., witnessed by officials from both institutions. This collaboration marks a significant step toward improving higher education quality and recognition in Timor-Leste.
