The Institute of Accreditation for Economics, Management, Business, and Accounting Programs (LAMEMBA) proudly announces that it has achieved international recognition from the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE). The recognition was granted through the Statement of Alignment with the 2022 International Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in Tertiary Education (ISGs), confirming that LAMEMBA’s accreditation and quality assurance system aligns with internationally accepted principles and practices.
The decision was officially approved by the INQAAHE Board of Directors on September 26, 2025, following a comprehensive review conducted by the INQAAHE ISG Recognition Committee. The evaluation verified that LAMEMBA has met all six key indicators under the INQAAHE ISGs, which include the legitimacy of the external quality assurance provider, the framework for external review of tertiary education providers, evaluation decision making and appeals, internationalization and external relations, integrity disclosure and transparency, and stakeholder role and engagement. This recognition is valid for five years from the date of approval, and LAMEMBA will be listed among the quality assurance bodies officially recognized on the INQAAHE website.
In his official statement, Fabrizio Trifiró, Chair of the INQAAHE Recognition Committee, extended his congratulations to LAMEMBA and commended the institution’s strong commitment to transparency, accountability, and global standards in quality assurance. He emphasized that this recognition reflects international confidence in LAMEMBA’s credibility and integrity as an accreditation body.
This milestone reinforces LAMEMBA’s position as a credible, independent, and globally recognized accreditation institution. Through this international recognition, LAMEMBA assures higher education institutions, particularly in the fields of Economics, Management, Business, and Accounting, that its accreditation process meets international benchmarks, helping Indonesian universities strengthen their quality, competitiveness, and global collaboration.
Prof. Dr. Ina Primiana, Chair of the LAMEMBA Executive Board, expressed that this recognition represents a significant step forward for LAMEMBA in becoming a world class accreditation body. “This achievement is not only an acknowledgement of our work but also a responsibility to continuously strengthen the culture of quality and to support higher education institutions in developing sustainable quality assurance systems aligned with global standards,” she said.
With this recognition, LAMEMBA reaffirms its commitment to advancing the quality of higher education in Indonesia through an accreditation process that is transparent, objective, and globally oriented, ensuring that Indonesian graduates and institutions gain stronger recognition on the international stage.
